Job Description:

Lead the creation and execution of enterprise-wide learning opportunities and career development for executives, clinicians, staff, and leaders, measure the success of the strategies to drive results and contribute to the overall advancement of the health system

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Establish and steward an enterprise-wide leadership development philosophy and all implementation components which aligns with an unlocks the vision, mission, and values at all levels of the organization.

  • Develop and implement strategy, process and system for career assessment, talent development and succession planning services to leverage internal talent for current and future opportunities.

  • Partnering with other colleagues, oversee all orientation and onboarding for staff, clinician and leaders to create belonging and improve retention.

  • Create on-going strategy to maintain and improve the centralized learning infrastructure with decentralized expertise for all roles to unlock high-performing teams.

  • Develop a forward-looking training and development strategy aligned with the organizations goals and objectives, integrating learning principles to ensure effective knowledge transfer and skill development.

  • Creatively lead change, own outcomes and build a deep culture of belonging and collaboration, establish and meet or exceed strategic outcomes understanding personal and team accountability to meet key metrics, especially in a changing environment with multiple, often shifting, priorities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: Bachelors degree in a related field. Masters degree preferred.

  • Certification/Registration/Licensure: None

  • Experience: 5-7 years of experience in progressive health care leadership positions with experience in learning and talent development required.

  • Organizational Strategy and Implementation -- Recognizes market trends, judges the impact on their AOR, contributes to responsive strategic plans, develops AOR operational plans, articulates these plans, and ensures they are communicated to gain alignment and commitment of all AOR staff.

  • Fiscal Management -- Effectively uses established processes to ensure accountability for effective operations and resource management.

  • Human Resource Management -- Effectively uses established processes to: select, align, develop, motivate, manage, and retain a team of highly skilled employees.

  • Excellence in Service and Quality-- Achieves seamless delivery of quality patient care, safety, excellence in patient experience, and customer service. Utilizes Continuous Quality Improvement principles and platform planning in decisions, improvements, and system design.

  • Organizational Leadership -- Provides leadership and accomplishes objectives by ensuring the integration of processes and initiatives while modeling collaboration. Participates and supports in brand/service delivery teams as requested.

  • Maintains accountability for implementation of requirements of regulatory agencies

  • Serves as liaison to the community

  • Duties and responsibilities as defined by specific department (if applicable)
