Part-time Shift(s): MON TUE WED THU FRI 7:00am - 5:00pm
12 - 28 hours/week

OVERVIEW:
Working as Part-time Globalization Assistant, you will perform the tasks related to maintaining International Subsidiary registrations and meetings, data management, and market research, among other subsidiary corporate compliance related tasks.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
oWorking with local accountants and lawyers to maintain our 20+ international subsidiary registrations, filings and additional tasks as needed by the subsidiaries to keep them operable and conform to our business requirements
oManaging data
oPerforming market research on countries and individual companies that show strong international potential for Fastenal
o Demonstrating attention to detail to meet customer requirements and individual country regulations
o Performing other project management related tasks as necessary

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
The following skills and qualifications are required for this position:
o 18 years of age or older, due to the nature of work
o Possess a current full valid driver's license issued in the country where the job is located (including successful completion of any applicable graduated license program for your state or province) as well as the ability to meet our driving record requirements to use a company vehicle, as needed
o Possess or are working towards a degree in Business, Project Management, Paralegal, or a related education
o Prior customer service experience
o Excellent written and oral communication skills
o Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite
o Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented
o Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities
o Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency
o Exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skills
o Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
o Work independently as well as in a team environment
o Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork
o Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)
