Job Description:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

Bachelor's Degree required in Business Administration, engineering, information technology, digital systems, portfolio/program management, statistics, economics, finance, quantitative analysis, or similar field. Master's degree or equivalent experience preferred in profit and loss management, mergers and acquisitions, innovation, venture building, investment portfolio management, business analysis, due diligence, agile, waterfall & lean sigma execution model implementation and maturity experience with demonstrated success.

Certification/Registration/Licensure:

N/A

Experience:

A minimum of 10 years of business-related experience, to include 7+ years leadership experience and experience related to profit and loss, high-level innovation, business analysis, venture building, waterfall project management, agile, internal and external environmental scanning, innovation, deal making, due diligence, business analysis expertise, data analytics, venture incubation, investing experience to include investment terms/deal structuring.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The VP Enterprise Growth and Execution provides leadership and strategic direction for the enterprise in the following areas: Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) & business development, Innovation, Execution, business analysis & due diligence for the future growth and development of the organization. This position will work with executive leadership, managers, and other stakeholders in the exploration and implementation of key strategies and actions to advance organizational goals and objectives, while developing best practice frameworks in the areas of M&A/Business Development, Innovation, Execution, and Business Analysis to support organizational growth. This position will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build growth strategies, implement organization-wide plans, and facilitate organizational change. This position will develop and define functional objectives, prioritize needs, and execute strategic growth initiatives to ensure ongoing organizational growth and success. This position will act as the Growth Council Chair and monitor the external environment for appropriate strategic growth opportunities to advance the enterprise.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Cascades and aligns all functions next level operating models to the enterprise operating model

2. Scans and researches trends in the external environment to develop plans for the future, ensuring the health system remains relevant and maintains a competitive advantage in the areas strategically invested in.

3. Creates business analysis & due diligence functional goal & strategy aligned with enterprise and regional goals and strategies.

4. Develops M&A and business functional goals and strategies aligned with enterprise and regional goals and strategies.

5. Creates innovation function goal and strategy aligned with enterprise and regional goals and strategies.

6. Develops execution functional Goal & Strategy aligned with enterprise and regional goals and strategies.

7. Decrease cost per assigned targets from Total Cost of Care and Care model transformation strategic priorities.

8. Creates alternative revenue streams through investments and partnerships that enable execution of enterprise and regional strategic priorities per assigned targets.

9. Meets or exceeds growth of existing revenue streams per targets.

10. Meets or exceeds a 2.5x or greater return on venture capital fund & launch incubation portfolio of investments over 10-year fund life.

11. Scans & analyzes the innovation, Ventures, M&A, and Execution external environment & market trends, judging the impact on the enterprise. Contributes to responsive strategic plans, developing functional operational plans within the enterprise operating model, articulating and communicating these plans, and ensuring alignment, and commitment of all innovation staff.

6. Maintains accountability for implementation of requirements of regulatory agencies
7. Serves as liaison to the community
